The court made a decision which will please the climate wreckers but harm koalas, greater gliders, our creeks and waterways, and our children’s futures. 

The Court’s decision is distressing and beyond disappointing. But the fight isn’t over.

• Contribute significantly to the devastating mass bleaching events on the Great Barrier Reef 
• Destroy creeks and precious water resources, and drain 280 million litres of precious groundwater every year.

As the world races toward clean, affordable renewable energy, there is no reason to keep ravaging our country and polluting our climate for profit. In 2026, during this most critical decade to tackle the climate crisis, the only place for coal and gas is in the ground.
